Who are we?

Nico

Leader

Wakeboarding is more than a sport for Nico – it's been his passion since childhood. As a world champion and professional wakeboarder since 2010, he knows the scene. In addition to the board, his business administration and sports management degrees, as well as over 13 years of practical experience in project planning, event management, and marketing, provide him with the perfect mix of heart and mind. His extensive network in the wakeboarding industry and his startup expertise from the Sporthilfe Start-Up Academy make him a strong leader who drives Wakeboard Campus forward with full energy – always with the goal of further developing the sport and the community.

Benny

Sports Scientist

Benny has been wakeboarding for 12 years and is passionate about the sport. With his sports science degree from the German Sport University in Cologne and a bachelor's thesis on psychological skills in wakeboarding, he brings in-depth knowledge of the physical and mental demands of wakeboarding. As a semi-professional wakeboarder and operator at wakeparks, he is well-versed in teaching technique to beginners and advanced riders. Benny has been coaching for five years, has organized several camps, and ensures that our community is motivated and well-supported. For him, it's clear: wakeboarding needs a professional curriculum, and anyone who has never tried wakeboarding should definitely do it – together with us!

Falk

Sport Pedagogue

Falk is our team's educator and facilitator, ensuring our teaching concepts are a success. With his degree in sports and exercise education from the German Sport University in Cologne and a bachelor's thesis specifically on beginner training at Wakeparks, he brings exactly the right expertise to the table. As the sports director at Wakepark Brombachsee, he has led hundreds of beginner courses and trained numerous employees. His many years of experience and knowledge of operating a Wakepark make him the heart of our educational work at Wakeboard Campus.

Nane

Producerin

Nane passionately manages our content, online platform, and social media management. With her communication design studies and experience in TV productions, she brings valuable expertise in camera work, filming organization, and post-production. Thanks to her graphic design skills, she manages to translate our scientific findings in a comprehensible and engaging way. As a woman on the team, she is particularly committed to making Wakeboard Campus even more accessible and welcoming for women in wakeboarding.
